Herceptin

Hi does anyone else have headaches with Herceptin and Zolendronic acid. I

I then started infusions of Herceptin, which I have been doing every 3 weeks. Several months ago I started to have heart issues so the Herceptin was discontinued. In the interim, I developed a small brain lesion and had surgical radiation for it - I don't yet know the results.

Can this be treated with targeted therapy such as Herceptin ( I am not aware of the presence of HER 2 ) but have been told that the surgical option would kill my husband who is 75 yrs old even though CT scan shows no spread . He has not had a PET scan.

Mastectomy and clearance of lymph nodes, radiation, chemo, herceptin, eight years of hormonal,therapy. Well and happy!

I’ve been on Herceptin, Prejeta for four years, and I’ve been stable with undetectable liver mets for years. My main side effects have been GI-related, but they've improved over the past year. However, in the last six weeks, I’ve been experiencing loose bowel movements and severe urgency.

It's been 2.5 months since I stopped Herceptin/Perjeta injections. Has anyone had Herceptin and Perjeta with these ( or some of them) side effects? If yes, did they go away and how long to go away? Thank you

Herceptin perjeta every 3 weeks and Faslodex every 4. If folks went through H/P curious how long g you were on this treatment. I have to have an echo every 4 months so can’t imagine it’s for an indefinite period of time given heart issue potential . My onc has been frustratingly vague.

Her death of course has made me go to the darkest of places.I have been stable on Herceptin/ Prejeta and Zometa with liver mets now undetectable and no progression to bone mets for four years.

hi everyone - I recently transitioned from ibrance and exemastane to Faslodex and Perjeta Herceptin injections and now I have a lot of unused and brand new meds that I want to donate.

Chemo (3mos, light regiment) + Herceptin (1 year). 2. Radiation for 3 weeks. 3. Hormone blockers for 5 years. We are skeptical about the chemo part given the Dr. mentioned that the effectiveness of chemo to prevent recurrence of cancer in future is less than 5%.

Has anyone with bc, on Herceptin had more AF and ectopics . Thankyou

After treatment liver lesions undetectable and bone is stable I have been stable with no progression for 4 years on Herceptin /Prejeta. and Zometa I am in the process of booking a trip to Europe one year away.

Hi ladies , I’m reposting a briefer message from yesterday since it has 0 replies . Ibrance stopped working and I’m going on those 3 combinations - ty for all the earlier comments/tips I’ve read about Faslodex shots I’m looking for anyone who has done these three combinations and your symptoms . Guessing

I knew like all of us here that first line of treatment would end sometime (almost 4 years) but I’m really nervous about this new normal I’m entering into with 3 week treatments of Herceptin and Perjeta and eventually monthly Faslodex shots.

Had surgery and chemo now on 3 weekly injections of Herceptin & 6monthly bone infusions and letrozole daily. Side effects fluctuate from day to day, fatigue, achey fluey, fuzzy head, indigestion, dizziness. In between I'm fine, seem to have a surge of energy then droop.

The test will be when the Taxol is discontinued and whether the Herceptin/Perjeta is the right move or not.. Has anyone else ever dealt with something like this? Thank you for listening 💕

Good morning beautiful ladies 😀 This week I started my Taxol and Herceptin cocktail. Being my cancer mutated from HER2 low to HER2 positive with progression to liver this seems like the most head on approach.

We went one to macs clinic in Jayanagar they asked us to start with chemo by including herceptin and docetexal. the cost of chemo will be 65000 per session and they didn’t give any sort of guarantee of working .

I had grade 2 ductal breast cancer late 2014 when I had just turned 60 I had surgery , Chemotherapy (and radiotherapy it was hormone related Her2 oestrogen and progesterone positive I also had 18 doses of Herceptin So I had belts and braces as the oncologist said I have also been on letrazole

Have others had pulmonary or heart problems related to Herceptin?
