Recently had my ovaries out and although I exercise the same, eat the same, meds are the same- I am experiencing weight gain/weight shift. I am assuming the surgery and weight gain are related. Anyone have any helpful hints? I can't just wait and hope it levels out...

Dear Lashinator, I had mine out and experienced the same joy you are currently having. A food diary and fitbit are the only things that helped. And my weight stayed on. Grrrr. I should add that I am not good with keeping to a strict diet. I feel it's just one more side effect....
I've not had my ovaries out but am post-menapausal and have often, somewhat ironicly, thought why couldn't I have treatment that makes me lose weight rather than gain it! Though having an E + cancer does mean we often do well for a long long time, like my 15 years. Better to be heavier and alive than the alternative......
