Hello my fellow warriors, hope all is well with everyone. I am on Kisqali and Letrozole. As most have noted before me, Letrozole comes with aches and pains and mine sometimes are debilitating so my oncologist prescribes prednisone and I have gained a lot of weight. I can't take the strong pain killers as I am at work during the day, (that is a story for another day). What can I do, I need help.

Weight Gain
I don't have any easy solutions for you. Maybe your oncologist or even family doctor will help. They have more info on you and know what is best. Don't worry about the weight gain right now. I lost 50 lbs. this spring starting in January and it just kept falling off. Don't know why or what caused it but it stopped at my normal weight. After several years of gaining weight. So I have discovered that weight does it's own thing and there is nothing you can do about it.
Cheers, June S.
I’ve read on here that it’s worth trying a different brand of Letrozole as the symptoms vary x
I take two Tylenol 650 in an ongoing basis. I am on Piqray 200 and have diarrhea every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I have oxycodone for back up when I need it. The medication gave me Type 2 diabetes so I am on medication for this too.
What a circus MBC is.
I’ve never been on Kisquali. Done Ibrance, Letrozole, and Xeloda. All have different side effects.
My heating pads are my saviors. One at work too.
Best to you. Reenie
I too am on Piqray and Fulvestrant. My symptoms are weight loss and how ! Dropped nearly 40 pounds and need to put weight on ! Never thought I’d hear that !!
Hi , I'm on Piqray and Fulvestrant . I had severe diarrea and had to go off Piqray for a few weeks to handle my stomach . I finally found that taking Organic Aloe Vera juice(Lakeland brand) and a few drops of colloidal siver handled the diarrea. I take about 2 ounces of Aloe Vera juice and about 6 drops of colloidal silver on an empty stomach before bed . I am now back on Piqray and don't have bowel issues .
I do take the Piqray with a meal , otherwise it can upset my stomach. Best of luck to you 💗
Second response. Yes I only took Teva brand. They have different delivery systems and the other one made me sick.
Speak to your oncologist about taking non-drowsy Claritin daily which has been shown to help with bone pain……keeping people away from the sleep inducing pain medications. It’s very important to speak to your pain team since you can take a few Claritin per day instead of just one.Ask about taking your stronger pain meds once you are at home, bedtime or those days when nothing else seems to work,
Sending positive vibes your way….hoping your oncologist/pain team can help you manage your pain without feeling drowsy at work.
Thank you.
