Had surgery on ankle yesterday. All went well. No pain(amazing). Lots of helps and support at home. Stopped chemo until April 4th because of low neutrophils. And some neuropathy.
But it did some good already. No pain day after last treatment. Arm don't hurt. Have to stay off feet, bummer.
Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I am now on the road to recovery.

Hi there! Take it easy as you recover and do everything doctor tells you. I fractured my fibula 6 years ago and had surgery. I have a plate and 7 screws. Took me 5 months to fully recover including therapy. Of course this was way before my dx.
Thank you for the info. I am following his orders to a tee. It is driving me crazy to be off my feet for so long. Have appointment for chemo on April 18th. Hope It is easy for me to get there. Want to start as soon as I can.
Doctor was more worried about the incision with the low neutrophils. He already put a walking boot on so I can change bandage and look at incision every day.
No, My doctor set the date to restart as April 18th. I will see her that day also. I am not sure how many treatments she has ordered or if it will be the same medication. So we will see.
How are your treatments going? Do you feel any better?
