Hello Everybody,

i would like to have a feedback about Kadcyla for a her2 positive relapse.

also is there any diet to favour or to avoid with this type of cancer ( her2 +++, ER-/PR-).

Wish you all the best.

Hi,

As for me, i will be having my fourth cure this coming week, and thank God, for the time being i have nothing really bad to complain about.

I learnt that the main problem is the fact that it could really lower the platelets, and i did experienced it after the first cure.

Anyway wait and see, fingers crossed.

i will keep you posted if any news.

Take care

I’ve not heard of it. Is a hormone therapy? Hope it’s working for you.

Hi,

They called it a targeted therapy, which is used to treat certain HER" positive cancers that have spread or come back... ,

you can check online for a better explanation .

Thank you for your wishes, i pray for a good outcome too.

Take care.

My daughter has Her2+ inflammatory breast cancer. She started Kadcyla about a month ago. Other than some fatigue she doesn’t seem to have side effects. Her oncologist told her she has had a couple of patients who had severe nausea with the first dose but none after that. My daughter is also given an oral steroid 30 minutes prior to the infusion.

Hope this helps.

She has been stage IV Inflammatory breast ca since diagnosis 3 1/2 yrs ago. It’s not a common type.

She was on Taxotere and Herceptin for 6 months, Herceptin & Perjeta for over a yr. then Herceptin & Navelbine for almost 2 yrs. She started Kadcyla in Dec.

She did tell me today that she gets aches as well as fatigue with Kadcyla for a couple of days. But definitely tolerable!

I hope you have great results!

Oh sorry to hear that, and i can tell you that i was diagnosed in nov 2016, with the same type of breast cancer , they said stage 3, with lymph nodes involved.

i had taxol & herceptine and radiotherapy as well, and a relapse just one year after the first cure thats why i'am having Kadcyla now.

Lets keep the fingers crossed with kadcyla, and pray for the end of this ordeal as soon as possible.

Take care.
