I will have a pet scan done on Tuesday morning. I've had 10 days radiation, in my fourth cycle of Ibrance/Femara. Now I will see how I am doing. Hopefully, it will show positive results, we will see. I have some cancer cells on my spine, had one tumor removed as it was pressing against my spine (caused a fracture).

Feeling nervous
Wishing you the very best on your scan! The tumors that involve bone are so surprising. I was dx with one in my left humerus last November that cracked the humerus and left my arm disjointed. I am not nearly in as much pain as I was, but after six months on Keytruda, my PET scan has shown no new activity, Greatest Christmas present ever! Sending prayers and good scan results.

Hang in there Susie. I just had one in November and my bone mets are in my skull, femurs, spine and ribs. The scan was stable, and I feel great. Keep us posted after your scan. Fingers crossed, prayers on the way. Jana.
Sending prayers
I just had my scans done and have Mets to my chest, ribs, femur, spine, collarbone, hips, pelvis and tailbone. It’s only showing chest, ribs and spine now and they have either shrunk or remain stable. Best of luck!!
I also have many bone Mets & scheduled for pet scan on Thursday. We are all strong here but anxiety is a part of it all. You have this - you are not alone! Prayers.
Susie, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I was diagnosed Feb, 2017 Metz liver and spine. Just finished 9th cycle of Ibrance/Letrozole. The scan weeks are the hardest for me as well. I have had 4 PET scans and been NED the last 2 scans but that don't get any easier. Try and stay positive - we are all sending blessings your way.
thank you ALL, for your positive feedback, support, prayers.
Susie, I also have MBC diagnosed in August 2017 with spots on my hips, lung, liver, collarbone, and parotid gland. I was on Ibrance and Faslodex for 3 months, when they did a pet scan. ALL of the tumors showed shrinkage or no growth EXCEPT for the liver, where they thought they saw a couple more spots. My oncologist immediately pulled me off Ibrance, and was put on Afinitor and Aromosin. That is when we decided to seek a second opinion. We found out oncologists definitely differ in how they interpret the results of progress of the cancer. We were more comfortable with this new dr's views of interpretation, so I now have a new oncologist, who has put me back on Ibrance and Faslodex. Ask a lot of questions, do your research, and try to remain positive. I finally feel a little sense of "hope" with my new dr, you just have to go with what you are comfortable with. Prayers heading your way!
Totally understand your nervousness. I go in at the end of this month. Prayers for good results!!
