Checking in/July 7, 2019

Last MRI showed some mild progression in the bone area, that was a month ago. I see the doc August 3. I have had a once a month faslodex shot done the last five months. Blood work is done once a month to make sure the blood count is ok. Every three months I have an infusion done, that is supposed to strengthen my bones. I have compression fractures on my spine. I had vertebroplasty done of the T9, T12 and L1 vertebrae bodies. I think it has helped in relieving discomfort. I also have had acupuncture treatments done on my spine, it probably has helped. I will see what the doc suggests. I am staying active, work. My adult daughters live with me, they are in their 20s. Oldest has had epilepsy last three and a half years, it sucks. Anyway, I stay up by having faith, keeping busy, working on taking care of myself. I love going to church. This Wednesday is my birthday, born in 1954. I am getting over a cold and working, I'll be happy if I maybe go out for dinner with family/friends. How is everyone else doing?

Sounds like you are plowing ahead💕I just had pet scan Friday and get results this Friday. I was nervous but today went to work and am calmer. I still dread it all but did the what if questions already- only way I can get past the fear n anxiety plus working helps.

Thank you Francesca10! I will celebrate birthday by going to work and chilling, relaxing. I think I am doing pretty good.
