Don't know about the massage pads, but the vibrator- pistol type or hammer, both work well for me.

I got a Bob n Brad pistol type from Amazon. There was one recently in Aldi/ Lidl.I fully recommend the BnB one. Very strong.

I was going to refer you to the generally negative feedback on Revitive, but then realised that was your past post! (BTW, having once met Botham at a book signing session and seeing how he treated people I wouldn't buy anything he supported ☹)

I bought a device called Therapulse and it does work! Whenever I get breakthrough episodes from my drugs I put it on the leg which is worse for about five to ten minutes and they stop jumping. I mostly have one leg jumping at a time but sometimes it is both so keep meaning to order a second one. The charge only lasts about 20-30 minutes but that has alsways been long enough to work, then you plug it into a charger in the mains. Just google Therapulse.

I also use therapulse with great results and I am still on Pramipexole which have one tab three times a day and use the therapulse for 10 mins on each leg before bedtime and no restless legs. I have been using for approx 6 months and not regretted purchase

I intend reducing the Pramipexole gradually together with this device and will let you know results

Good luck Hoochybaby 😊

I have a vibration machine which is one that you stand up on (my teeth can chatter with it!). I use it when my legs are jerking in bed. It has an option to cycle through vibration frequencies. It typically use it for 10 mins. What it does is to exercise my calves and quads to the point that I get quite tired. When I go back to bed then I generally get back to sleep as my muscles have had a workout.

This is only my experience and I wouldn't advise anyone to buy one without testing this first. I bought mine second hand and it has been worth it.

Hello Hoochybaby. I use a percussive hand held massager and it is the only thing that helps me when my legs are playing up. It is quite a heavy one because when I tried a lighter model it didn’t work. I get mine from Amazon Good luck

I use a low-tech cuff that I slip onto the offending leg, place it over the restless muscle and turn it on. Most of the time it works, and I go to sleep. Other nights, I get up and do light chores. This way I'm doing a variety of remedies so that the body won't get used to one thing and then stop working. I have a rare night when nothing works because the restlessness is overpowering. I just keep walking/standing and hope it ends by 5 or 6AM so I can sleep 3 hours to get me through the day.
