Just got my leg massage kit after sending the pump back...twice! Maybe I was expecting too much....although they must mean something different when it says "massage".
It inflates/ deflates (at one point I thought it was going to explode)...and it does this for around 20 mins.....and that's it!!! No massage...sigh..

Sorry your new idea did not help. I have found massage impossible on my legs. Seems to start the rls. We are all different.
My best exercise for middle of the night attacks is holding on to the windowsill and doing raising and lowering on toes ! (the holding on is because half asleep)
I also had trouble with a relaxing meditation at the end of an exercise class, and could not keep still. it just went on too long.
Now go to a "wellbeing" class and the final meditation works for me. Most of the exercises are stretches and balance improving. (Still have the rls, but not in the class!)
2nd night with the Cleo leg massage kit...it does seem to bring on my RLS and I can't help fidgeting while it's on...but after that it's ok....early days...
There are classes for this here (Scotland) it's called Mindfulness....but I'd probably be a distraction as I can't seem to let my mind be calm or sit still for more than 5 mins!!
I've been using the Ancient Minerals Magnesium oil for about a month but trying a few different things at the moment so not quite sure how it would be to take just the magnesium alone? Do. says my level of magnesium should be ok as I have a good diet. My legs have calmed down a lot compared to a couple of weeks ago, but still left with insomnia ....not getting off to sleep...sometimes till 5 am....going to ask to be referred to a sleep clinic.
Been using the Cleo Active leg massage for the last week....I doubt if it would help alone, but maybe the fact that I'm doing a combination of things is helping..who knows...
Noce to hear that your legs are at the best they've been for a while....it makes such a difference doesn't it?
