Anyone have face vibrations on lyrica

I was on 1500 mg gabapentin and just switched to 250 mg of lyrica which is 1/6 the gabapentin which worked. But now I have face vibrations and then restless legs. It don't understand why that amount of lyrica doesn't work when it is the equivalent of the 1500 mg of gabapentin that does.

I tried it again the next night and this time it was OK, No vibrations and no restless legs. Whew!

I don't have any facial vibrations but something's going on with my speech. After talking a while, I start slurring my words. My daughter says that I sound like I'm drunk and I don't drink. It can be very frustrating at times but the Lyrica is working for my severe nerve pain, I was on Gabapentin for a few years (300mg 3 times a day) but eventually all it did was make me feel bad. I told my PCP that I wanted to go on Lyrica. Right now, I'm taking 150 mg twice a day up from 75 mg 3 times a day, per my Neurologist. I suppose whatever medication that would calm one part of our body would calm other parts too. I'm sorry for the unpleasantness you are having, hopefully you will get better. God bless.

That seems like a lot of pregabalin compared to the gabapentin you were taking. The equivalent dose would be 50 mg. Did the 75 mg not work?

I use 600.mg I can tell you are British. Americans use 300 Mg capsule for seizure, pain healing, shingles. You are on tablets that some use 2400mg for RLS. You need to ask the British pro Maerva

Please tall to Manerva who is very sharp in this area.

I have probably read everything Manerva has written in the year I have been on this forum. She is very knowledgeable. My restless legs and PLMD is under control with the pregabalin I am taking as it was with the gabapentin.

Whoops, I meant He is very knowledgeable. Since Manerva is a female name for awhile I thought he was a she and occasionally forget he is a he.

I really don’t know anything about Lyrica and I only take 300mg of Gabapentin. I am on week 4 of coming of off Pramipexole, reducing by a quarter and finding it okay but still staying on Gabapentin for now
