RLS after hip surgery

I have been on this site for a long time. I recently had hip replacement surgery and have had a severe increase in my RLS. The opiates that I take (methadone 10mg po every 8 hours and up to 20mg oxycodone po per day for breakthrough RLS) used to work wonderfully, but since I have this hip replacement surgery, my RLS is through the roof.

After any kind or surgery, I usually develop a severe post-op hematoma and this surgery was no exception and coupled with the 81mg aspirin twice a day made it significantly worse. I am wondering if it might have taken bioavailable iron stores out of circulation due to the hematoma. Anyone have any suggestions? I am about ready to ask the neurologist for a short course (10 days) of Restoril to make sure I am rested.

I also just had hip replacement and hoped it might help. no but have started taking g cannibis oil at night and last three nights have been heaven!I’m also on gabapentin, ropinirole, rogitotine patch and lamotogine! None of which have been any good so want to get off them. Each one helped a bit to start with
