I have been on Co-amoxiclav since last Friday evening (1 1/2 days) and, since then, my RLS has increased. I was wondering if this is a coincidence or whether anyone else has had problems with antibiotics

It's probably not the antibiotic, but what is also used in the tablets to make it into a convenient and palatable form. From drugs.com

" Both strengths of tablets also contain microcrystalline cellulose, quinoline yellow (E104), titanium dioxide (E171), crospovidone, Povidone K25, colloidal silicon dioxide, stearic acid, polyethylene glycol 6000, methylhydroxypropylcellulose, saccharin sodium, vanilla flavour and magnesium stearate."
