Acupuncture

I have posted this before, but for anyone that missed it before, here it is

I was on Requip for years ultimately not having any relief. My wife suggested acupuncture about two years ago. Since that time I have been almost entirely symptom-free and prescription free. I go about every 60 days.

Wow- you're the first person I've heard about who has benefitted from acupuncture. I wasted way too much money on it and it did nothing.

Just goes to show, we really are all different and what works fro one may not work for others.

Could it possibly be that any two acupuncturists may have vastly different training and techniques? My guess is that people could have wildly different experiences depending on those two differences alone. Kind of like hiring a lawyer, or going out on a blind date...

I have also tried acupuncture for RLS, relief without success.

Sorry to hear that. He started with cupping originally. Also, I have the acupuncture along with moxibustion each time.

I think many of us have tried Acupuncture with no success, but I suspect that depending on the acupuncturist and how they treat you your experience could be vastly different. I would be interested in know exactly what your acupuncturist is doing. If you could find that out and share it with the group that might be helpful. So we can look for someone with the same treatment plan.

I'll see what I can find out. There's likely lots of variables. Sorry to hear it hasn't worked for others.
