Are you sure it's rls you have?

Any of those medications should have some effect on rls.

Sounds like you may have some other malady?

What effect do ibuprofen or paracetamol have on your condition?

Cheers.

I self diagnosed and the doctors agreed with me - it is so bloody painful and the doc has increased the pregablin dose and I take extra iron - I just wondered if there was an alternative to the pregablin that I am on or the gabapentin that I have tried but did not work. I just want the pain to go away, I may ask my doc for tramadol as paracetamol does not touch it and I can not take ibuprofen.

None of those ever helped me either...Tramadol did help me for a while but after a year it started to make it worse (Aumentation). Something like CO-CODAMOL (Codeine 30/500 Paracetamol) may be a better one to start trying. Good luck...

oh and I swear by Epsom Salt Bath for a bit of relief too...you can get Solpadeine Tablets from the chemist (12mg Codeine with 500mg paracetamol) I used to be able to pop 2 of those and the RLS would disappear

Try TENS with one pad on BACK of each knee in centre where skin has

creased; use different settings see what or if works. You can keep it on

at low all through night.
