I noted that it says this is only for primary RLS. I have secondary RLS, so I guess it won't help me? Isn't RLS RLS no matter where it comes from?

Nope.. I just found out there are two conditions Primary Rls is hereditary... Secondary RLS is sometimes caused by another health condition like spine misalignment, inflammation, poor circulation and side effects of certain antidepressants or other medications.

Still confused. I understand that there are both types, but doesn't everyone who gets it (no matter where it comes from) suffer from the same symptoms and should therefore get relief from the same things?

I'm just trying to understand 😁

Good question..I'm confused too... Looking on site relaxis.com...relaxis has not been tested on secondary RLS caused by medication side effects. Also Relaxis can have side effects that mimic peripheral neuropathy... So I guess secondary RLS caused by PN could get worse.???

I would check with physician before using it .

Also... Relaxis is not for patients with deep vein thrombosis diagnosed in the last 6 months... So if CVi is the cause of Secondary RLS then Relaxis could be dangerous.

I think you just unknowingly hit on the answer. You say it's not for patients with deep vein thromobosis? The medical field is probabably worried about litigations ensuing if this pad complicates other issues not related to RLS. So, I think we now have our answer! Thanks!

I tried the pad and it didn't work for me. I returned it and got a refund. I have primary RLS. The pad would vibrate and not allow me to sleep. It also did not help my RLS. Good luck
