Morning Jillygirl i love the pic, wish i could sleep though, i'm gonna have a lazy day and watch the lympics, yesterday i was dashing about getting work done, turned round to fast and hit a door with my foot, ouch :D, have hurt my toe and can't get a shoe on cause it's too painful, so won't be going out, just gonna celebrate another non smoking week, which we all should do :), have a great day, hope you get lovely weather, away to have breakfast now, will chat later xx
Morning Sue. Thats really painful when you do things like that. I do stupid things like that. I must admit I shall have to do a bit of housework. The temporary lodger (the budgie) has decided to start moulting feathers everywhere. So clean his cage and then vac sounds like the first job.

Well I'm going on strike today, or at least trying!! However everyone's still asleep so it's nice and peaceful for now!! Give it another hour or so and I'm sure that will all change!!

Aaaaaaaahh that challenge, done that yesterday, cus i had a bit of a downer day yesterday, but as usual you Girlies helped me out !! and saying that i would like to thank you all for helping me get through this, erm , well it has been a hard time for me 
you Girls seem to have more strength and will power than i have got, and i know that i wouldnt have got this far, without all of your help and support, that you have given me I love you all for that and big big huggs to you all

Afternoon all, well I've just got back. Not been out long. Friend phoned to go for a walk. Got the car out and bloke waiting as I reversed out beeped and told me I've got a flat tyre. Phoned friend who picked me up. Let's go to the river we say as it might have dried out a bit by now down there. We were going to go past where the Red Arrow pilot died last year. We started walking then the Red Arrows flew over in formation trailing smoke then came round again singly to land at the airport. Always amazing to see - I don't think I'll ever tire of watching them in my whole life! We then hear a couple of rumbles of thunder - big black cloud coming - yikes!!! The Red Arrows obviously knew something we didn't! 
Got to the bridge just as it started raining. Found some shelter then had a terrific hail storm!!! Walkers and cyclists all dashing and getting drenched and covered in mud - yuk! Decided to cut short our walk and paddle back to the car as the sun came back out.
Wow andi you certainly have adventures when you go out. I think the red arrows are brilliant. Wish they would come up to Leeds Bradford airport I could watch them from my house then. Just had odd showers here but no thunder.

Heard them fly over the house earlier but missed seeing them - they have a sound all of their own! Rest of the day was totally dull though!
Aup Andi , - yep same as you gal, but without the red arrows, it just went deadly silent, as in no birds chirping, went dark, then the heavens opened up, gosh did it come down, as you said hail stones, 10 mins later, dry as a bone again, sun shining just as though we hadnt had any rain !! weird or what ?!

Hey Jillygirl, have just come to have a look on here, i'm working from 10 am until 8 pm, this week so will have to leave the house about 8.30 in the morn, and get back about 9 -- 9.30 in the evening.

Oh Pete, hose really are naff hours you're having to do these days. Why did the boss change them all while you were on our hols? Don't suppose you could get another job with better hours closer to home? Anyway, have a good week - and don't let the b******s get you down!!!
