Hey there.... It really is important to stay positive and remember why you are giving them up in the first place. The thought of smoking is far nicer than the actual act of smoking itself.

Try taking a few deep breaths in and out .... Then breath in, very slowly through your nose, counting to 8.... next, breathe out through your mouth really pushing your breath out by puffing out your cheeks as you do it..... Try this to the count of at least 8.

How does this leave you feeling now?

It may take a couple of goes until you feel a bit more relaxed. Don't be surprised if you feel a bit dizzy, this is just an oxygen rush as you are not used to having so much oxygen reaching your brain so quickly....

Let me know how you get on and well done to you! :0)

thanks Emjay.... i just tried this and it helped alot.

I am going to keep using that technique !!! :)

Your right the thought of it is more appealing then doing it. I can smell my mum smoking and it has made me feel abit sick!

Thanks for the advice though.

How long have you not smoked for?
