I always get the urge to smoke immediately after having my food. Please suggest a way to overcome the cravings.

Hi, I found that the best thing was to leave the table and do something. If you usually had coffee and light up,take your coffee to another room where you didn't usually smoke and drink it standing up.

Remember the 4 D's to handle cravings. Delay, Drink water,Deep breathing, Do something, do anything,wash-up,go for a walk, phone a friend, play on your phone.

If we're honest cravings only last 5/6 mins at a time,we have to learn to deal with them. Over time they become less intense and further apart.

I used to clean my teeth straight after my meal and that helped a lot.

Also running up and down stairs is a good idea to get rid of a craving🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️

Good question and perfect timing for me to read this as just going through after dinner cravings. I followed others advice and drunk some water, cleaned up and logged in to here. It worked. DDDD
