I'm 67, smoked since I was 12 and i have COPD. I don't seem to have the courage to stop. I have nrt patches, an inhalator, and an electronic cigarette but I don't use them. I have an appointment with a Help Me Quit therapist next week. I think about stopping almost daily, I just don't stop. Any suggestions welcome.

Hi 0064 and welcome to Quit Support. It’s never easy to quit but it’s easier with a little support.
You seem to have accumulated a positive, arsenal of NRT but you don’t seem to have a plan. This is a link to one of our posts about mind set ,I hope it helps you a little.

Deciding to quit is the most important, life saving decision that we can make
Good luck🍀

Welcome to Quit Support 0064 👋👋 like TheTabbyCat has mentioned, you've got plenty of NRT to go at👍
I think the problem is that you like smoking too much at the moment, sit yourself down with a cuppa, pen and paper, then write down why you want to quit smoking🚭there's your health, money, watching your children grow up and get married, maybe grandchildren too, stinking of smoke all the time and so on, I'm sure you can think of some more 👍Then stick your list on a cupboard door or something you see every day to remind you ''WHY'' you want to quit🚭
Hope to speak soon and good luck 😀😺x
Great advice given already 😊 . . you could decide a day to Quit and try sticking to it when you want a smoke get up and do something weather it a walk. Dance cleaning …. You could even when you want a smoke don’t allow yourself and think you’ve got to wait maybe start with you’ve got wait an extra 15 minutes? And then progress to waiting longer times you can do this 0064😊💪 . . . Good luck 🤞! 😊🎶💃🕺🏻xxxxx
