I don't think I'm having a wobble as such but I'm feeling odd. 64 days without a cigarette - good news. Such a sore mouth, bleeding gums, bleeding nose - bad news. Plus I swear I am eating like a locust.......
Just feeling blue today about my quit. I want the physical benefits to be more obvious....

Hi after31years, Dont panic it is all normal. Your gums etc are getting back to normal. Stay with it . It does get better. Have a look in the hints and tips or type in bleeding gums, there are plenty other members just like you. xx
It's like climbing a mountain, just when you think you are getting to the top there is another bit to climb on the horizon, some parts are just annoying some painful and some lasting a long time, when you get over the peak you might not notice at first but it's certainly easier on the way over the other side.
Yet here I am, stopped and started too many times. This just goes to show that the road onwards is just littered with tests. You think it's bad this time, how stupid am I then to keep on going back? Is it easier to smoke? No. Not at all, I just feel worse about it getting one over me AGAIN.
I'm plodding this time, not rushing anything and taking things as they come and always remembering NOPE. (Not to mention reading a library of books and scrubbing and cleaning whenever possible) certainly keeping busy.
Probably don't help you much, but if you're reading this your hands are busy and you're not smoking!
Cleaning and reading....my favourite things, I think I am just having a grumpy day. Sat next to my husband smoking in the car which was a tough one...Thanks Danslatete
I'm sorry your having such a hard time of it just lately but it seems to hit us all in different ways please try to stay strong and positive cos it will get better for you
I am perhaps one of the very lucky ones, cos my gums only bled for a few days and within a week my breathing was much better as in, walking up stairs and not being out of puff, although saying that, from day one of my quit, I exercised on my rowing machine which helped my get over the cravings and although I coughed and spluttered it helped me tremendously I can jump on it now and give it some action without the coughing and spluttering
Just think After, if you give in now, you will have to go through all this again soooo, please try to keep focused and positive and you will see that things get better for you The best things come to the ones that wait
As for hubby smoking in the car, tell him, if he dosnt stop smoking in the car when your in it, then he can iron his own clothes
Your doing ever so well gal you take care now and be flippin proud of your achievement
Hi there I'm at almost 3 month quit and my nose is sore inside and bleeds, I developed this about a month ago, I wasn't sure if it was related to my quit but if you are experiencing this also maybe it is x

I have the same thing going on in addition to every other" smokers quit"syndrome
known to mankind... I ask myself is this all worth it... Approaching 6 mths and still struggle with cravings, chest congestion,IBS.and low energy. What damage done is done..
Some irreversible, some not so much. As I continue to struggle, I will stay strong and not succumb .........
