Happy Thursday everyone, I hope that you’re all well and any of us who live in the top half of the globe ,it’s time for us to begin preparations for “hibernation”. Are we ready? I thought it would be interesting to ask you all, do you have anything special to do before the days get very dark and short. I try to throw out any summery clothes that I’ve worn “to death”. Most of them are ancient but I continue to wear them because I feel comfortable in them. I still have a T shirt from the 2012 London Olympics!
Thinking about comfort and our comfort zones, when we quit smoking and are trying to live without depending on nicotine, we’re forced to move out of our comfort zone. We are forced to look for another way of feeling safe, another way of waking up in the morning and going to sleep at night. I still remember enjoying my first cuppa of the day, standing up in the lounge instead of sitting down in the kitchen , I also stopped drinking so much coffee, coffee and cigarettes are “wired together so they tend to fire together!” If we think about it there are lots of habits that we can change.
It’s time for a change, only 5 days to go until STOPTOBER🚭
