Hello and welcome to our Weekend Chat everyone 👋 and a very warm welcome to our new members👋

It’s hard to believe the school holidays are over and the children have gone back to school. Another month has flown by and now we’re heading into September. Time seems to fly by so quickly.

When we first stop smoking though, the days can seem long because we were so used to lighting up and now it appears we have extra time on our hands. We actually do have extra time as we wasted an awful lot it lighting up and puffing away. The best thing is to keep busy and find something else we like doing. It doesn’t matter what it is but it’s important to do something instead of nothing. This way the time goes by more quickly. I always think music makes me happy and when my daughter rings, she always says it sounds like I’m having a party🤣 So please do something that makes you happy and honestly cigarettes don’t make you happy. There are so many more enjoyable things to experience in life.

Talking of enjoyable things in life, I’m off on holiday so I won’t see you next week💃

Keep up those great quits and don’t make excuses to smoke. These include things like keeping a pack of cigarettes in the house or buying cheap tobacco on holiday for friends. Don’t light, hold or look after other people’s cigarettes or sit in smoking areas for a chat. It’s easy to think, I may as well have just one. DO NOT do this, stay strong🚭💪 Stay STRONG and smoke free, it’s the best thing you can do for yourself.
