72 hours in, but out of body experiences

Most of yesterday I felt like I was “out of focus” , not even the ground under my feet felt solid. It was like every nerve ending in my body was charged and wanting to go off on contradictory directions. Listening to conversations was, as if, I was underwater. Not craving, but unpleasant enough to make me isolate a while. Today I’ve got a football match to go to with the obligatory meet-up and drink before the game. So preparation will be key. I’m preparing both mentally and physically for that. Happy Sunday All 🌞💚

Good morning AD, When we first quit sadly these side effects come and go, Brain fog is just one of them, however they can go just as quick as they come.Enjoy your day. 😊💕✖

Hiya AmazonianDiva,

Have you experienced this sensation before? It sounds similar to disassociation (I can't say for sure and I am not a diagnostician), hope this link works: mind.org.uk/information-sup...

If you are experiencing disassociation this is most likely a stress or trauma response, or it could be a response to medication (if you've started any new medication have a chat with your GP or pharmacist to rule this out).

Look after yourself, hope it all goes well at football and with the meetup afterwards!

Hi Lenne 👋. It definitely felt like dissociation and depersonalisation thrown into a mix with Fibro fog. It had completely gone by Sunday. I have a Bipolar 2 disorder that doesn’t bother me too much and, yes, giving up smoking with a planned trip to family in Ireland soon was maybe a trigger. Thanks for the link and care 💚
