A woman was watching 2 council workers the first one dug a hole and moved on to dig the next hole

The second one came along behind and filled the holes in

After a little while she asked in perplexity what they were doing?

“well now” says the first man “I suppose it must look a little strange, you see we are usually a 3 man team but the lad who plants the trees 🌲 called in sick this morning”

I used council workers so as not to offend anyone and I work under the umbrella of our county council

In a world gone mad where nearly all the news is sad I laughed and laughed and hope you do too
