Anxiety and Stress

It’s been just about a year and 10 months since I last smoked. Over the course of this time I have had a lot of ups and downs. I worry about everything. My anxiety kicks in and does not let me be myself. I went back to college and played a full season of soccer. Everything was great. I met a lot of new people and was named co captain of the team. As an athlete I ran a lot. Sometimes I would run too much and my heart beating was too much for me to control. There was times where I would walk away or overthink everything in the middle of practice. It’s difficult to explain. After I quit smoking anxiety and stress hit me at an all time high and to this day I have not been able to control it the way I would like too. I just want to be able to wake up in the morning and look forward to my day. Not be afraid of everything. My confidence is no where close to where it used to be. Is there anyone who is going through the same thing. Can someone tell me how to block out the negative and believe in yourself. Sometimes I think I can’t go another day and that hurts. I know I have great potential but my mind, my mentality does not let me progress.
