Hi everyone

24 hours into stopping vaping. I left my vape out and about yesterday and my other one has no more coils so quitting was not planned. However, I’ve been meaning to quit for months.

Some of my family and friends don’t know I vape so had been doing it in secret and it was actually starting to impede my social life. It was the first thing I grabbed in the morning, last thing I did at night.

I was completely addicted and I don’t believe quitting vaping is easier than smoking. It’s the habits you develop, quick vape after food, one with a coffee and the vape with alcohol at night.

Today has been HARD. I have felt sick, shakes and couldn’t concentrate at all. I’ve been told 72 hours is the worst so 1/3 of the way there!!

Great reading everyone else’s stories and glad I can share this journey with other people.

All I want write now is to smoke yet I am telling myself how it ruled my life and I want to be free from the vape 🙌

All the best, A

Welcome to quit support. Thank you for joining our lovely community.

Here on quit support our aim is to help people be free of nicotine addiction, whether

Its through cigarettes, shisha, vaping, salts, jules, or any other method.

Nicotine itself is not harmful, but it is the main substance that keeps us all addicted.

Once the nicotine has left the body (usually within 3 to 4 days) we need to rid our

Bodies of the 4000+ chemicals that are still damaging our system.

If you read through the pinned posts , we have a lot of useful and informative articles

On there to help you with your quit journey.

Please don’t hesitate to ask , if you have a query . There is usually someone around

Who can help.

We wish you good luck with your quit journey. 😊

Thank you all for your support.

Drinking lots of water, avoiding sitting down in the same place when I usually vape if I can (that seems to be a trigger).

Went to the gym yesterday to tire myself out and only woke up once in the night which I was quite impressed with.

Goodbye nicotine!!! 👋
