Here on Quit Support we mainly have members who are trying to quit tobacco. Over the years we have had many who have used vaping to help them quit. Vaping is relatively new compared to cigarettes etc, so little is known about the long term effects.
Vaping has proved successful for many members who used it to replace cigarettes and then gradually stop vaping. However as vaping has become more popular we find many members started vaping and are now addicted to vapes. They have replaced one addiction for another .
Its very hard to advise anyone what is best to help them as we do not know what vaping hasdoes to the brain lungs and other organs. Our advice is dont start smoking or vaping , but if you are struggling to quit either try planning a quit as we describe in our pinned posts. We are there to help.
Here are some videos to may be help you. Which are in the replies sections.

When i first tried stopping a couple of years ago i used a vape ...i found i was vaping pretty much all the time as i d told myself it was "safe" ...anyhoo...thats when i then found myself starting to wheeze alot and ended up getting an Inhaler to help ..i really do think it can be harmful ,but if used as a stopping aid correctly then can be very helpful...and god only knows how all the kids are going to be in a few years time ...they are all "addicted " and have vapes in every fruity flavour out there ...and vape far more than they would smoking a cigarette ..we rarely see kids smoking these days which is great...but theyre all vaping 🙃
yes I agree about the vapes, they seem to be more prevalent than cigarettes, the thing is, you can do this anywhere too ( not supposed to but can ) and I know people who vape, do so much more frequently than they would ever smoke, and this can be done in bed, in the bath, on the loo even if cigarettes are banned from indoors!
Thankyou 😊...i went and got my teeth whitened last week ...more from coffee and tea stains than anything else nowadays 😄...so now limiting myself to one coffee a day ...😁
