Hi everyone. Just checking in. I'm still smoke free and I'm glad I quit when I did. Two smokers really close to me are currently battling lung cancer. Both were forced to quit cold turkey. One caught it in time. The other didn't. So when I feel like brooding because of hypertension I think about just how lucky I am. For those of you who are new to quitting, stay the course. It's worth the struggle.

Hi there Sacquit. Lovely to hear from you. 9 months is fantastic. I was a bit like your friends , although I had quit smoking about 10 months before being diagnosed with cancer, I ended up losing one of my lungs. This is why I try help others quit so they are not faced with similar experiences. Yes we are lucky to be alive and not smoking. xxxxxx
Nine months smoke 🚭free is fantastic👏👏👏👏 well done, I’m glad I quit when I did, or I wouldn’t be here now, or so my GP told me at the time....... thank you for a positive post,
