Hi Pad4eva86 Well done for your decision to quit👏

Welcome to Quit Support.💙

It’s never easy to quit but it’s easier with a little support.💪

Panic attacks can be withdrawal symptoms or did you have them before you quit?If the chest pain continues I suggest you see a doctor.

Please read the pinned posts,📌 there is lots of information there. You will find the posts to the right or at the bottom of your screen depending which device you are using.

May I suggest you drink plenty of water💧💦 to flush out the toxins and keep yourself hydrated.

If you feel you need any more help please don’t hesitate to ask. There is always someone here.

May I remind you not to post any personal information.

So for the record your quit date is today,Sunday 29th September.

Good luck with your quit.🍀🚭xx

Hi Pad and welcome to Quit Support🚭

You’ve made the very best decision for your future health👍🏼

I see tubby has given you good advice already.

Try to change your routine around as this helps. If you have coffee and smoke first thing in the morning, try tea instead. Coffee was a trigger for me so I made a smoothie instead. After meals I cleaned my teeth straight away as this was another trigger I could avoid. Keep busy, so you don’t sit and think you’re missing something. Any type of exercise can help, I used to run up and down stairs when I had a craving. Even go out for a walk to distract yourself as these cravings will pass. You’ll be surprised to know that they only last a few mins.

Read the pinned posts as there really is a huge amount of info there.

We look forward to supporting you on your journey🚭✅

Good luck and stay close coz the lovely people here know how difficult it can be. We’ve all been where you are now, so we understand what it feels like to have day 1. Hang in there, you can do it💪xx

Welcome Pad4eva86,

The girls have already given you good advice. May I suggest when you feel you are panicking to try the deep breathing exercises (in the pinned posts) I found they helped me when I quit.

have a lovely day. xxxx :)
