Next Tuesday will be 2 weeks and 1 day since I stopped smoking however it also marks the first time I will be away with work and not smoking. Normally when I get to the hotel i unpack, make a cuppa and then go have a smoke. I would then spend the next 1/2 or so rolling cigarettes ready for the next day.
I was thinking about how best to tackle the change and have decided to plan my runs and rest days so that I have a run day on Tuesday and have planned a route I can do from the hotel
Determined to succeed!

Running is a great way to connect you into your new lifestyle! I've missed my running. Hoping to start within the next few days I've been off it since I started smoking again just didn't have the energy... Proof of the pudding, eh?! Smoking definitely poisons the lungs!!
I said to my partner this afternoon that I feel as though I am not as lethargic now I have stopped smoking... Saturday afternoons were time for a nap in the past but instead I have kept going and feel great
New lease of life 👍👍I totally get where you're coming from I was lazier when I smoked. Even after just 3/4 rollies a day that was my smoking routine every day but everyone's bodies are different... When I've quit before I've felt better then the moment comes "ahh, just one won't hurt" so then I'd smoke, then major guilt after, then I'm back under Mr Nic's thumb that's all it takes with me!!!! 😂🙊 Longest I went cold turkey was 9 months, then back on them, then 5 months, back on them again, so now I'm really hoping it's the real thing. I DO feel a lot better generally when I don't smoke.
I have a sensitive mind and body so I'm better off without them. I have tonnes more energy when I don't smoke and I look a lot better too, not as pasty, pale looking and dreary eyes. Well done, keep it up!
Good luck and I hope you manage to find the mindset to give them up for good this time... I just bought some aftershokz headphones with the money I would have spent the last 13 days so feeling really good about that
I relapsed after 18 months 1 year ago or more. It’s so easy to re-addict ourselves. You’ll feel so much healthier now that you’re off cigarettes... Way to go for quitting again 👍
Good going 👍. Those first weeks are so hard. I remember the days of rolling cigarettes making sure I had enough for the next day. Where I’m from , no one seems to smoke . A minority for sure. Alberta Canada 🇨🇦. It gets easier Keep up the good work !!
