Castles in the Air/

What If

By Michele F Mershon-Fleck

3rd December, 2014

I use to dream of what it would be like

To live in the past through a different life

Knowing that reality is not full of dreams

To me it’s the subconscious, a glorious theme

Running with bare feet in fields of green

Or splashing cold water from a deep meadow stream

Life is simple in my mind as you see

No true facts of the past are present within me

Plants and flowers always used for their worth

While animals are sacred and cherished on earth

Blessings and prayers spoken during their demise

So food, cloth and shelter could come from their hides

Spirits and guides often show you the way

A life full of love and beauty conquer each day

A village built through nature is what we strive

Mother Earth’s bounty continues to focus our drive

No evil or strife resides within this conscious

The cradle does not fall, no need for justice

My world is a fantasy, a daydream as such

An imaginary time we simply can not touch
