This is exhausting mentally. I have been for sure eating more but each night I go to bed I feel really proud of myself. having the support of my friend at work has been huge, along with this website and watching videos of the effects of smoking has helped.

7 days quit is terrific and yes you should feel very proud of yourself, well done👍🏼
It's great you have a friend at work to support you, and we are very happy to offer advice and support to you. Keep doing what you're doing coz you're doing very well. Lots of people put a bit of weight on, so don't worry about that now. Try snacking on healthy fruit and veg as this can help🍓🍒🍐🍌
Our motto is NOPE not one puff ever, stay strong and believe in yourself😊x
Hi ya 1T, its great to know your still hard at it and YES, you feel really PROUD of yourself, cos we all know how hard it is to quit the smokes and you've done it
Its lovely to have a very supportive friend too, it helps a lot plus you got plenty of new supportive friends on here too Just come and meet us, get to know us eh
As our lovely Briarwood has said, I think most of us snack and put a bit of weight on during our quit, but, if we can quit the smokes, we can flippin doooooo anything including losing the extra few lbs eh
Well done on getting through your first week of many more
Every week will not be quite so exhausting..I promise you it will get better.
It is sensational that you have a support person to help you in these toughest days each day you get through, you get a little stronger and better at fighting Mr Nic.
Made it thru a week .. that's great! First few days can be especially trying! Hang in there a day at a time and things will smooth out after a while. Kicking an addiction with the support of others is a blessing ... and sharing your experience helps others .. too!
