Having a small crisis in which after two years the evil Mr Nic is raising his ugly head telling me he can help me through hard times. My head tells me this is stupid and Mr Nic can only add to the problem but MY it is a strong feeling please, please , please tell me this will pass and I can get through this x

And breathe. You know you can get through this. Lighting up will never solve a problem or help with your stress it will only create a problem and more stress. Have a bath with some scented candles. You can and will get through this. Xx

Hey Lily, sorry your having a hard time today. You have been in many stressful situations over the past two years and you have never given in..... so please don't now.... Lily you know that sticking a cancer stick in your mouth and setting light to it will not help you.... in fact if anything the stress of coming on here and telling us that you have given in will cause you sooooo much stress...😆😆 it will pass I promise, why don't you go and see to all your animals and have a little chat with them.. they will help you through it...😆😆😆😆

Yes Lily, this will most definitely pass. Really sorry to hear you're having a bit of a struggle but you have come too far to let Mr nic win. You know it's not going to help and you really don't want to smoke, it's just a trick to get you back. You're way too clever to fall for this Lily. It will pass, think of your lovely fur babies who don't want smoke around them. Go for a walk, or as Monky would say thump a cushion, shout out loud, anything it takes but don't give in. You are strong and you can get through this hun😊 xx

Oh they are beautiful they have gorgeous fluffy bums and are full of character. Little Ginny squeezes herself through the cat flap in the mornings in search of treats I'm getting to more ex batts in a couple of weeks too x

Thank you lovely people I so know it won't help and my babies deserve a smoke free me. Stress with probate etc on my own is fighting a wee bit of a battle. Isn't it odd that even so far down the line it would be so easy to turn back to the thing I've tried so hard to beat x

How are you feeling now?

I can almost guarantee that the thought of smoking is greater than the actual act... To do it would leave you feeling such a disappointment in yourself 😳

Another thing is that the more you give it your head space, your attention or your time thinking about it... The more attractive and enticing it will become 😳

I can definitely guarantee that IF you did smoke, you will most definitely want to give up... All over again. Now think about how you will feel having to do all that again 😳

Stay strong, think about how well you have done and the goodness of your health, you've come such a long way and you know that we all believe in you 😇😍

Ah Emjsy, thank you for your words of wisdom within the space of 2 months I have lost my mum and my pretty new hubby has decided that the trials of grief are not for him however you are right, smoking will do nothing other than damage me and I am worth more than that. I will remain strong x

Aww sweetie, I'm so sorry your going through a bad time at the moment.

It's not easy when your feeling sad and grieving but I'm sure your mum wouldn't want you to relapse.

We all know smoking won't help, I'm quilty of relapsing in the past when I'm upset and stressed but so regret it afterwards.

I hope you've got someone you can confide in, I think it does help if you have someone you feel comfortable talking to.

Youre an inspiration on this site, be strong Lilymay you can do it.
