Hiya Toni and welcome to quit support :)

Massive Congrats on your 3 weeks quit, you're doing great :)

Sorry to hear you're struggling, it's tough and you're battling hard. This journey has it's ups and downs but all the struggle will really be worth it. Remind yourself how much better you look and smell and how much money you're saving. Treat yourself to something nice and be proud of what you are achieving. This is probably one of the most difficult things most of us have done and hold your head up high coz you're doing it :) :) x

Hi toniann and welcome to quit support.

Well done on you 3 weeks quit, you are doing fantastic!!!!!!

Quitting is a bit of a roller coaster of emotions, both physical and psychological. Have a read of some the info under the topic heading on the right hand of the screen.

I promise you, it does get easier :) :) try not to see it as quitting smoking but as a new you!!!! One that is going to be so much better off in many ways.

Good luck and keep up the great quit you have going :) :)

Hi Toni, big congratulations on your 3 weeks quit :) and a big warm welcome to our quit support forum :)

Hmmm, your struggling a bit eh, try to keep focused and positive :) keep reminding yourself why your quitting, think of the benefits you'll get from quitting :) smoother skin, hair that dosnt stink of fags, whiter teeth, loads a money, you and your clothes not stinking of fags, breathing easier, the list is endless :)

As the Girls have said, get out and treat yourself to something nice :) you are doing just great Toni :) but I tell you, that flippin mr nic knows exactly when to strike :o if your feeling a bit down in the dumps or just lost focus a bit, but it gets easier, a lot easier :)

I can't add a lot to the amazing replies so far apart from asking how much nicotine is in the e liquid that you are using? ? I have first hand experience of trying to stop smoking with too lower the dose of nicotine and I struggled just like you are!!

But after some very kind advice on here I increased the nicotine and have never looked back!

I started off on 18mg increased it to 24mg because I was struggling and I have now managed to cut it down very gradually over the last 7 months to between 15-18mg.

(Hubby has learned to make the e liquid so that I can wean off it totally at my pace.)

In the long run it really depends on how determined you are to get smoke free!! I had no choice as I have a long term lung disease so I made the switch up!! Hubby couldn't see the logic at the time but he soon stopped moaning about me being mardy and unable to sleep. In all honesty what have you got to lose in trying just a single bottle of 24mg??

I hope that you do try it and see that you can do this and don't have to suffer at the same time!!

If you want to talk at all any time please pm me as I'm around most of the time!!

Good luck
