Day 1 without a cigarette

I have been playing this back and fourth game trying to quit. I know I'm only on day 1 but I'm very proud of myself. I can use this money do to fun stuff with my kids and since I just started exercising yesterday and trying to clean up my eating habits I'm feeling good. Very sore but good. If I'm not happy with how my life is I'm going to haft to be the 1 to change it. Anybody on day 1? Thought we could work together on this. We are going to need support.

Stay possative and strong, and keep exercising too, Keep in touch, if you need to let off steam, come on here and do it, we will understand, xx :-)

Aup Healthymummy, a big warm welcome to this lovely quit site :) :) and a massive well done you for taking the plunge to quit :)

In my experience, I found that day 1 was quite easy, then days 2,3,became a bit harder :( but I think what it is, you have to keep yourself focused and motivated on your quit, soooo, keep reminding yourself WHY you want to quit :) write a list out of WHY you want to quit and keep reading it back to yourself :)

You have to keep that motivation going and feel soooooo proud of yourself for what you have achieved :) hold your head up HIGH gal, cos you deserve it :) Just think of all that money you will save to do stuff with your children :) think of your body getting rid of all those toxins that are in cigs :) :) Think of breathing easier when your exercising :)

There is loads and loads of support on here gal, you just flippin shout out if you need any help or advice :) :)

You just keep focused and you WILL do it :)

Pete :)

Hello and well done for taking the steps to improve your life and your future, I mean you have children to watch growing up, and think how much more you will be able to do, not just financially but physically, really proud of you for making such an amazing life choice.

Def braver than me doing so many changes so you should be amazed by yourself.

Are you quitting cold turkey?

I think we have all been back and forth with the quitting game, I know i have, and i know if it wasnt for this site, i would have been still in the slavery loop of ciggies.

Let us know how you got on with your first day hun, and join in the chats, the more support the better.

My mum used to say, " if you are not happy with your life, change it, you are not a tree, you are not stuck where you are" and you are living testament to that.
