I know what you mean and I had instructions to not do anything but I wanted to go out on the bike - it was only a short, gentle ride and I didn't push on the hills too hard. I seem to need lots of puff for this running (in race-type situations ). I think that might come with time though.

Thanks Monkey and Andi, don't do running since my Herniated Disc, just brisk walking, I'm doing it with my sister and as she's older than me I will go with the Slow flow !!
Well its been chucking it down here all day too!! Thank goodness I don't have to find a sheltered bit to have a fag anymore!! I had my op on Tuesday and have to have yet another referral to someone else(different specialty!!) Getting fed up with hospitals now - if its not necessary ain't having owt done!! Want to get a few hours a week work in an office somewhere - after all, if I am to return to Lanzarote, will need some holiday cash. The big Lung C can keep its ugly head away from me - have decided I'm gonna be one of the 2% who survives 5 years lol!! CV done, and hoping this litlle ol' gal will be earning a few coffers after 12 months of absence!! Watch this space . . . .

Met my friend for breakfast (eggs benedict followed by a warm choc au pain..) then drove out to a village in deepest essex where another of our friends live and spent the day with them... Lunch followed by a home made cream tea... delicious
Not long home but just realised I caught a bit of sun - cream must have rubbed off
Also forgot to put a patch on today..... tomorrow was supposed to be my last one before I go nic free on Monday....see how I feel tomorrow but prob wil go without patch again.....
