Feeling down
Aw smokefree, hang on in there hun, you must be nearly two weeks now? You've done really well so far We all have our bad days and I know it feels like it must be easier to give in, but it's not worth it. Your body is just trying to trick you.... don't be taken in by it.
Maybe you should plan something nice as a treat for when you reach two weeks... maybe your fave restaurant with friends or book in and get yourself a nice body wrap or massage....ooh I might go and book myself in
Please don't give in, we are here to support you -x-
I havnt given in its been 1 week and 5 days now. Good idea mght just do something nice x
Hi smokefreeandme,
Don't feel down, you are doing great! I am 8 days no real cigs, but I'm using my ecig..
It does get some getting used to....believe me it is not easy,
But I know I can't do it without my ecig ( I'm too nervous a person ) I tried often....so I am proud of my 8 days........but you do get some weird reactions, like today, all day, I could hardly function, dead tired....slept on the couch this afternoon...
My dad and sister couldn't stop smoking, and they both passed away.....so I'm trying with the ecigs.....otherwise I'll just light up....have an emergency pack in my freezer...
A REAL ADDICT !! Don't feel down, you can pretend your sitting here having a coffee with me, and we are congratulating ourselves.....
You have done really wll. Im not giving in to a craving im pushing past it. Went for a good power walk that helped me
Aup Smokefreeandme, its lovely to see you again gal
Yes am afraid we all go through this at some stage in our quit, but it will pass gal Please fight it, your a very young Lady, so you have to do this cos otherwise you will end up like me see, well, ermmm, not as an old boy like what I am but you will get wrinkles and only have 1 brain cell see
Try Emjay's No 1 breathing exercise, or do some exercises, cos that always makes me feel much better, after I have been on my rower, I feel just fantastic gal, I really do
Drink plenty of fluids tooo, especially water, cos it does help a lot
Stay strong now gal, you KNOW you CAN do this Pete
Yeah exercise is helping me it gives me a buzz to be honnest sends me on a health kick witch makes me wanna not smoke even more x
A massive well done to you for not giving in to mr nic gal

Hey, Smokeless, stay strong and try to keep focused on your quit eh xx
The thing that shocks me is i hardly use my e cig some days so i know i can do this. Im so determined
Hey smokefreeandme, hope you are feeling much better today
You've been offered some great advice and support in all of the above, I love our member
I know many people hear me say the same thing over and over again but this is just something that you have to get through to be able to come out the other side, safely
You really can do this and the more times you get over the 'down' parts and let a pesky craving pass, the more stronger you will become - Although there will be times when it doesn't feel this way.
You are doing ever so well
It was at about 2 or 3 weeks non smoking that l suddenly felt a kind of 'freedom' my body was no longer being held hostage to a small stick of plant material!!! don't have a big budget but now l can afford to buy myself something nice, usually an item of clothing, every now and again, it feels good.
