Hey Martin, that long road you can see ahead is a lovely long healthy road Enjoy the journey, it may be a bit bumpy at the beginning, but only whilst you get to grips with it. Who knows, it may be different from the last journey
We believe in you
Whoohoo Martin - congratulations on your first week, that's a great achievement. Keep up the good work
Two days for me Martin...I am finding it tough tonight.
poetry helps;
A cat as black
As blackest coal
Is out upon
His midnight stroll,
His steps are soft,
His walk is slow,
His eyes are gold,
They flash and glow.
And so I run
And so I duck,
I do not need
His black-cat luck.
Cats dont smoke
I've got a sore clogged up throat I'm worrying about, wish I had stopped before my stupid throat felt like this!! Just think Maddy, if you hang in there, you can stop before the health problems start.....it is harder to stop before you feel side effects, so you are doing the right thing not postponing it....
Hi Maddy123, two days is a great achievement, it can be tough as your body wants you to carry on sticking all those killer toxins in your body... . but stick with it your doing really well
I'm sitting here munching on raisins and nuts.... I know there fattening but its got to be better than the alternative!
Keep us posted on how your doing, Julie

Maddy and Martin, we are thinking of you both....
Hang in there
Continue your smoke-free life. One of the pitfalls that ex-smokers face is thinking that they can "just have one." Remember that even one cigarette will negatively affect your lungs and that there's a good chance you'll take up smoking again if you smoke that one. Focus on the fact that your lungs are functioning better than they were when you were a smoker.
Hey, I'm no stronger than you, I'm trying to follow this too....
Aup Terry, its lovely to meet you gal cos dont think we've spoke before
How are you feeling then ?
I thought everybody had gone to sleep by now, just thought it was me, awake at this time in the morning
Pete
Ha!ha! You just missed me, I just went to bed and read your note this morning......I feel great in the evenings and awful in the mornings ..so I hate going to bed at night when I feel at my best....but know I should...if I'm going to get anything done the next day....it is great to meet you!!?
