You took it the wrong way, sorry, I know some people don't like being called mate but I didn't do it in a derisory way, it just meant yeah, I'm in the same boat, feeling the same way, two people akin to the same feeling. Sorry if I offended you :)

Dumps club here too. Being human sucks sometimes, its a big club! Time passes and tomorrow's a new day! That's a blessing.

Tomorrow is a NEW day & things will be better for you both.Sin,Why Isn't your new liquid any good & what's up with the ECig ? Kronskeylock,Wassup to make you feel so blue ? There has to be something that is bringing you down.We all KNOW that quitting this awful habit absolutely stinks because it's just really really hard & just when you think you're getting somewhere something else crops up to set you back again. You HAVE to believe (both of you!) that there is light at the end of the tunnel & that in the end you'll get there.Love & thoughts are with you both.Hugs H xx

I don't know Helen. I went down to 16mg and didn't think it was enough so I got lozenges too. Just come back with some 24mg exactly the same make and put it in a new atomizer I bought a couple of weeks ago but hadn't used yet and its awful, I dunno its like its letting loads of air in or something and to say its 24mg, you'd never guess. Am fed up with it all. Even when you buy e-cig stuff from the same supplier and the same make they vary so much that there is no consistency. It's so frustrating.

Hey Sin, I'm feeling the same at the moment with my e-cig, bought new liquid last week and a new coil, cleaned atomizer, but it not been the same !! I do wonder though if it's to do with how we are feeling, as I have had a slight dodgy tum and tongue slightly coated, and a bit phlegmy too, so may be that's why we don't get the same kick - taste ? Just a thought, but yeah so frustrating :-( Grrrrr.

Aww, sorry you're not feeling too good Mrs sunnyside. That's the problem I have with the e-cig there is no consistency with them. Like you say you get one that you're happy with and everythings fine then when you come to replace something, even with the same make from the same supplier it can be very different. I think you need ooodles of patience with e-cigs and sadly I never have been blessed with much patience ;)

Kronskeylock, I'm so very sorry to hear the bad news. Don't give up tho, your friend needs people at a time like this and you need something to keep your mind off the cigs.My thoughts are with you & your friend.

.Sin,I know it's an added expense but I used an ECig with cartridges(Skycig) really good and the same every time. They have starter kits for around £10.May be as Mrs Sunnyside says just the way you're feeling a the moment.Personally I just think you're putting FAR FAR too much pressure on yourself to get off the nicotine.I know it's been a while BUT you're NOT smoking cigarettes anymore are you. It's not even like you're putting off a quit date or anything, you just need a bit longer to get off the nicotine. The main thing is you're still trying.I know you still miss your cigs so why oh why put more pressure on yourself and make yourself more miserable, just so not worth it in my book.Anyway, just wanted you & Kronskeylock & Betts to know that I was thinking about you.SHOUT long and loud if you need any help.Hugs H x x x

Thanks Helen :) I tried the cartridge ones when I first started with an e-cig a year ago. I got the VIP ones. I don't remember them being that good, but that was last year when I was suffering far more than I am now, plus I got it after the short lapse I had, so used it straight from real cigs. I keep thinking the same as you though, that they are probably more consistent in their quality, so no disappointing surprises. I will have a look. Lots of people have been recommending different makes so I've been having a good look at all the options. Tom C stopped smoking with the cartridge type e-cigs too so they may be worth another try. Thank you.
