Gave up smoking today and cant sleep finding it easy so far using nrt my son brought a puppy home today hes only 10 weeks old staff cross hope you all had a nice Christmas and new year

Hi Vitemen, well done on deciding to quit, and welcome to quit support. As for sleeping it should settle soon You will have to put a pic of the puppy on here for us all to see. ;)

What nrt are you using? If it's the 24hr patches then not sleeping is a side effect because you are getting nicotine when you are trying to sleep which you don't normally.

Or maybe you feel like you can't relax without having a smoke before bed? It'll pass

One of the things that we recommend is to try and keep yourself occupied. I'm sure you will have plenty to do looking after your new puppy :-)
