After another long phone call from abroad last night i've switched the phone off today while my arms are strong enough they weren't half aching i need peace and quiet today, that's why i suddenly disappeared last night.
I hope you all have a wonderful smoke free, craving free day
Good afternoon Jillygirl, Sue and everybody, its a beauty of a pic you posted today just love it gal
Well, here in Derbyshire its a lovely bright sunny day and not a cloud in sight !!
We had some new machinery for work come, and all in big wooden packing crates soooo, I've stripped them down and chucked it in my van. Now am hard at it, de - nailing and tidying it all, all I can smell in my garage is the smell of pine wood, beautiful I'm a busy little bee today, so thats helping to keep Mr nic away
I hope your all having a lovely Mr nic free day toooooo
I've been a busy been myself today, helping my mother in law to move house and get a few things sorted out for her. Now I'm home I have my own jobs to get on with before running myself a lovely hot bubbly bath with a nice glass of wine :0)
Pete, good on you mister - thinking up ways to keep busy and being all resourceful at the same time. What have you ended up making with your newly collected wood?
Sue, I hope you've managed to find your peace and quiet?
JillyGirl, lots of wishes being sent to you in that I hope you manage to have a nice relaxing weekend in your new place too without finding you only have half of whatever you need there and the other half in your other flat!
Big waves to anybody else looking in, you know where we are if you need us

you are doing absolutely brilliantly and the positivity within you is shining through, it really does help.
Sometimes it's worth making a mental note of the times you feel this good so that when / if you take a nose dive it will help you to realise that the nosedive feeling doesn't last
Good evening all. Thought I'd post an update on my quit story. I have been stopped since 28th October. Been using patches and e-cig. Started a new job last week and on Wednesday forgot to put my patch on, survived so haven't put one on since. Still using my ecig but only a few times per day. Feel like I want to rid myself of nicotine! Any advice?
Hey well done Kizwiz over a month of quitting. As for the getting rid of the nicotine dont worry too much.
I used the inhalator similar to the e cig, what i did is didnt put a new cartridge in, then when I need it I only had a minimal taste , I think the act of using it was enough. I soon didnt need it even though I wouldnt go out without it for ages. At least your not inhaling all those poisons cigarettes have.

Aup Wiz, its great to see ya
Firstly, a massive well done to you for getting over a Month quit yeyyyyyyyyy As for you asking for advice about cutting down on the nicotine, WELL, your already doing it ! you've cut the patches out
Rite you have an e-cig, there are different strengths of nicotine !! so cut them down then, like Jillygirl has said, just have a puff on them when the nicotine has gone if you see what I mean cos a lot of smoking is habbit, not just the nicotine
Please please, dont cut down to quickly eh do it at your own pace, when you are ready for it
Hi jillygirl, thanks for the advice. Got it in my head that I will not really be on the road to recovery until I am completely rid of nicotene. Can't really believe how good I am doing. I do love reading about others success stories on here. I find it very encouraging.
