Not a good day
Hiya Dude. Sorry I'm not on the tablet route, I use a vapor thingy. Well done you for staying strong. 10 days is excellent. Stay strong and I hope you can catch a few extra zzzz at the weekend. It may help and I always try to sleep a little more especially if I get bad craving as it is impossible to smoke when you are asleep (dreams excluded)
Sending you positive strong vibes to help you with your battle against Mr nic
Sue xx
Thanks extra sleep would be cool if I could sleep busy in work though which is good and keeping my brain from thinking about smoking so that's cool, but I know in my mind that im not going to smoke I'm determined not to thanks for your message it has helped
Aup Dude Its nice to meet you, and a big well done to you for getting to day 10 love the name by the way
Ha ha, when I was erm, well a lot younger than I am now, my nick name was reckless dude this was in my motorbiking days, I think I spent more time on the floor than riding the flippin things
Rite then champix - yep it made me feel sleepy too gosh I had a right job getting up some mornings, plus it gave me a runny nose
I think you are lucky Dude, cos some people get really bad side affects with it so you stay strong and determined like you say, and you will be a winner Good luck now Dude and will speak to ya soon
Pete
Dude1976, Do you know how brilliant 10 whole days without the dreaded weed is ??????? Yes you will still crave for a stinky old fag, I still think about them several times a day. Three months and two weeks now for me. I smoked for about 45 years and tried to give up quite a few times. I am on champix, and the nurse has said I can have an extra two weeks on them .I Tomorrow will be day 11, so keep going, best of luck, you can do it. The nurse told me to take the second tablet before 6pm so it wouldnt keep me awake.
Hey Dude
You are doing a brilliant job there, don't underestimate your achievements, it is the hardest thing, and people who have never had to give up would be giving us medals if they knew (or should be) Every day's a winner, and day 12 getting under your belt today, tremendous Well done!
I hadn't really clocked it, but I am having a bit more time in bed since I stopped, first thing in the morning, an extra half hour to an hour, and I do nap and dream then. Firstly have the bit of time the cig used to take up, and second, I just think I need it. So do get what shuteye you can, a bit extra helps, I think.
Keep strong, have a good smokefree day, Dude
Hi Dude - Im on the champix experience too - absolutely well done to you for doing 10 days - i'm now 7 weeks and 1 day! ive had really tough days and hope like me you will persevere. Exactly the same thing initially happened to me complete tiredness (and still is to some extent, im fighting it all) and hope you do too. Lets all do this together just get through each day and we will all soon be saying a year! free of nasty nic - good luck - marion x x
