(Would you like my recipe for Chocolate Covered Strawberries? They are very prices at the stores & so easy to make. Most women like them more than roses.)

CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES

Leave stems on strawberries.

Clean strawberries & dry them on paper towels.

Wax paper will be needed to set berries on after dipping.

Berries must be completely dry before dipping in chocolate (moisture will mess up the chocolate).

I melt the chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute & stir... then microwave for 30 seconds (a little longer if needed). Chocolate should be creamy (no lumps).

Carefully hold strawberries by the stem & dip into chocolate & place on wax paper leaving room between the berries. If a stem breaks don't worry... mistakes taste great.

I let them rest on my counter until chocolate is set. May need refrigerated on a hot day.

I like dark chocolate the best. I buy mine at a cupcake shop in a near by town. It is deconate. But when l run out l go to our local grocery store & buy dark almond bark... it also comes in white. Have fun making & eating these treats.
