Christmas greetings

I was thinking about you all today so decided to send you a Christmas wish. I know that for some of you you are still in the middle of the PSP/CBD chapter of your lives and that for others, like myself, are now on their own with only memories. Which ever situation you find yourself Christmas is not easy for many of us.

Our latest writing group subject was '30 years ago' so I decided to write a short story about something I bought 31 years ago, so I used a bit of poetic licence.

I then decided to use it as a Christmas card hence the photo.

Christmas greetings to you all whatever you are doing.

AliBee, I have not posted in a while and my heart aches for the lovely people on this thread that are struggling with caring for loved ones with this terrible disease. Thank you for your kind words as it is often a difficult time during this time of the year.

My heart goes out to you in the middle of this disease and those like myself that have had loved ones who have passed from CBD.

it seems to be particularly difficult at this time of the year.

The grandchildren all excited, but my wife now finds it difficult to interact with them.

At Christmas gatherings, the "absent" are always "present" and, in our family, they are expressly remembered when the youngest member of our group blesses the table.

thanks AliBee and love to you all. I think this will be our last Christmas with my husband another would be too cruel for everyone. We will be collecting the happy moments for the future - but that’s ALWAYS a good thing to do isn’t it.? Enjoy ☺️

It's five years on the 27th since I lost my darling Chris, so I'm in Derbyshire with our son and his family.

A year without mum seems impossible and yet here we are. The only thing that makes it bearable is that she is no longer suffering from PSP.

My thoughts go to anyone whose life has been touched by PSP.
