STRESSFUL DAY

Oh well, everyday can't be perfect but today was stretching it for me and D. He has two accidents, urine which he hasn't had in a long time, his BP is high and was absolutely out of it all day. To boot, a water pipe in front of our house broke. Gee I wonder if the guy who mowed this morning hit it. Opinion of the city and the plumber we had to call to fix it was yes. I am trying to relax, hah and exhausted. Going to bed shortly. Hoping tomorrow will be better. NITE ALL Just venting!

Yvonne, It has started in the wrong direction down instead of up He said he can't get out of bed fast enough to use the potty. Good thing i bought him the pads that tuck in his undies. His memory is definitely getting worse. Dementia setting in? Waiting for a call today from the VA to see what help we can get from them. I am so tired!

Let go of yesterday and concentrate on today it will be a trial but there are good ones to hold on to. Hope D's BP is lower and he is more responsive. Best wishes Tim

Well I hope you had a good rest since it's been 14 hours. I hope you tell that lawn mower man he owes you for repair of water pipe.....

B went through the wall again the other night....All I can say is I'm sure glad I did not fix it from the last two crashes !

He's ok, just some wall rash. I praise God he doesn't get hurt for all the damage he does! His new dining chair , a strong one but still made of wood, is going the way of the rest of the furniture! To rescue that beautiful family chair, we went to Salvation Army and found two steel restaurant chairs. put coaster on them, and we have two sturdy-enough-for-B chairs....at least for awhile. And they don't look too bad....

AVB, I still feel tired. I am glad B did not hurt himself. Your both lucky. The restaurant chairs n steel usually are made to last. fingers crossed. BTW, he left before getting paid, so he won't be getting paid at all. Now to find number 3 to do the lawn. Either they don't do a decent job, steal, my bird bath was at our daughters, asked him to bring it here the next time the lawn was due and of course he disappeared or they are very expensive.
