If you watch it and haven't seen the Dec 5th episode, stop reading :)

A lady was brought in the ER after stabbing an intruder in her home. Long story short, it was her husband who she she didn't recognize. Upon farther investigation it was discovered she was on a medicine that was a Dopamine ,not Sinemet, producer and that drug was causing her to hallucinate.

The show is your typical hospital/ER drama but they do seem to cover illnesses most shows have never touched. They had a PSP patient on a few times and showed her end of life wishes being carried out.

It went from one incompatible drug to another (anxiety one), but I thought the REAL message was that when she made known her medical wishes VERBALLY (not in writing) the hospital refused to honor them (possible law suit).

The moral of the story, for me, GET YOUR WISHES IN LEGAL ORDER. I don't fault the hospital since the only one who heard her wishes was the shrink.

It's been pouring in Los Angeles since yesterday afternoon. Pacific Coast Highway was closed this morn due to slides. We need the rain, but when bad PCH always suffers the consequences.
