I just changed drug regimen from just Sinemet to Sinemet plus Pramipexole. When I am out and about getting 2 pills out is a pain. I asked my Neuro if it was OK to stuff them in a gelcap. She said yes. Is anyone else doing this? Problems? Now to patent it and sell it for 1000 x the cost🤣😂

I am having panic attacks every evening and take 45mg of Remeron, 15 mg Buspar x3 plus 2 1/2 tablets of 25/100 Sinemet 6 times a day. My neuro is reducing the Sinemet and won’t do anything about the anxiety. I have a new Psychiatrist that won’t change anything either.

Hi all, I’ve recently been experiencing wearing off symptoms only 2 / 3 hours after taking Sinemet meds. Limbs feel heavy, tremors worse, exhausted as my body is so tense all the time. Sometimes I just try to walk it off, not very successful!

My neurologist felt that I was taking too much sinemet.125/100 and cut me back from 8 pills a day to 6 every 3 hours and none at night. I wind up freezing up and can’t move in bed. I live alone and this is impossible.

I had to stop using Sinemet because of the augmentation and now I am beginning to suffer the same with Mirapex. I am having occasional outbreaks of RLS in the afternoons and early evening . I cannot predict when this might occur. It is very frustrating. Any suggestions ?

We are on vacation in London (Mayfair) and somehow, I didn’t bring enough Sinemet (25/100) 🙄. I’m hoping to find a doctor to write me a prescription for 5 pills. Does anyone have a suggestion for the best way to go about that?

I have had problems with sinemet in the past and sinemet definitely works better when I take the sublingual version rather than the HCL version. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thank you, David.

It's been working pretty well but there are some downsides and we were hoping to bring in some Sinemet to reduce the amount of Mucuna he takes every day.

What is the conversion rate for 1/2 tab of generic Sinemet 25/100 and Mucuna Pruriens (Now brand containing 15% standardized L-Dopa? 2 capsules per dose=120 mg L-Dopa. Thanks Thanks

Hello again. So after a ten-month hiatus after my initial consult, the NHS finally scheduled my LCT. There was only a marginal 'on' benefit. Do we have any idea what the percentage split is between the two outcomes? Thank you.

I've had RLS for 15 plus years, mainly being treated with Sinemet (1 tab 25/100) over the years, with Ropinirole and more painfully, Pramipexole which caused severe augmentation a year ago.

My neuro asked me to keep sifrol as is and start taking Sinemet 100 / 25: 3 tablets per day. I have been on Sinemet for 2 months now. Unfortunately the morning tablet doesn't work: I take it at 7:30 am morning and my last food intake is 8:30 pm the pervious eve.

Now it’s intermittent and I can’t understand why I should use Sinemet rather than Ropinorole.

I am traveling the next 2 months, will take Sinemet to use on the 5 1/2 hour plane ride. I cannot increase my Methadone. I want to decrease. Decided not to until I return in late October , from the East Coast to visit family . Any ideas will be welcomed. Thank you !

She also mentioned that she reduced her medication by one Sinemet 25/100 plus half a Sinemet 25/100 per day, now taking one Sinemet three times a day and one Sinemet 50/200 CR at bedtime.

I have my daily struggles with my Parkinson’s symptoms and the on and off periods and the precise dosing of my sinemet during the daytime hours to get me through the day but once nighttime comes around my symptoms all but disappear.

Recently, the Sinemet 25/100 only can last 3 hours. My Neuro Doctor prescribed ENTACAPONE 200mg for me. But, other doctor said that will causes my Dyskinesia worse. Besides, I don’t want to take too many med every day. Has anyone ever taken this med? How does it work? Any bad side effect?

I’m not going to stop taking rasagiline, and I’d rather not start taking Sinemet!
