three years ao when i was still ok we stayed in a small hotel just off st mark' square with a landing stage. To get to it involved a water taxi trip down the grand canal, then diverting left under the bridge of sighs then a sharp left by the driver to tie up the boat an unload the luggage. finally i turned and took this picture --one amazing day

Oh, what a lovely photo and you brought back amazing memories to me as well when I visited Venice with my darling. One funny memory was bumping into a lady as she suddenly stopped in front of me on Rialto bridge to take a photo. She turned to apologise and it was our sons’ head mistress from our village school in Kent, UK. It’s a small world.

Keep revisiting lovely places and occasions in your mind.

Thank you for helping me bring back happy memories.

The last time we saw Venice was from a cruise ship as Bens balance did allow us to go wandering, it is such a stunning city. Make more memories if you are able.

I'm the one who DOESN'T have any memories/experience of Venice! ..Still on the bucket list. Thanks for sharing a beautiful photo and reminding me to spend time reviewing great photos and memories with my husband.

Cheers Jim!
