WHY ARE THEY SO EXPENSIVE - AT THE PSP SHOP ?
CHRISTMAS CARDS : WHY ARE THEY SO EXPENSIVE... - PSP Association
CHRISTMAS CARDS
I never look at the home page of this site, I just go straight to the forum, so I had no idea they sold Christmas cards. I guess all charity cards are expensive aren't they. Can't believe I just spent £12.50 on Christmas cards in September. lol
So Shasha thanks to your successful advertising on behalf of PSP they made £12.50 today WELL DONE YOU!
Hi Shasha,
The PSP Association is a small charity that relies on donations and fundraising activities to fund research and provide services like the helpline and the Specialist Advisors as well as the awareness raising work they do. Selling Christmas cards (and other products) is just one of the ways they do this. As Jay60 says charity cards do tend to be dearer than others but that's because the charities need the money to keep going.
h
yesbut surely they woould sell far more if they were more reasonably priced ?
Hi Shasha,
They have to cover the cost of production as well as make a little bit of profit. The cards work out at 40p each which is still a lot cheaper than many in the shops. They are also good quality and act to advertise the association and raise awareness. For anyone interested here is a link to the PSPA online shop.
They have some nice designs this year
love Kathy
DEAR KATHY - I GOT COMPLETELY THE WRONG END OF THE STICK !! I THOGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS PER CARD AS IT DOES NOT SAY HOW MANY THERE ARE IN A PACK ? PERHAPS YOU WOULD LET ME KNOW HOW MANY THERE ARE ? AND IT DEF SHIULD BE ON THE SITE
Gosh! No wonder you thought them expensive!! There are 10 in a pack!! If you go to the store and click on "seasonal" you will see there are 8 designs (over 2 pages). If you click on the picture you get more details and that's where it tells you how many in the pack. Some designs are £4.50 but that still only works out at 45p per card. Happy Shopping!!
