Finding Slivers of Joy every day ...

Hello friends --

Most of you will not know me, however, I am dropping in to say hello. My account here doesn't seem to exist anymore, and I do not see any of my previous posts over the past years....but, I think of you all often.

I cared for my sweet Momma for almost six years in my home, and the journey was unlike anything I could have ever imagined. I encourage you to find slivers of joy in each day --- if you are a caregiver, seek respite when you can. If you are navigating this disease, I am here for you.

This forum saved me, and I appreciate everyone here that walked this journey alongside, and offering some of the most amazing advice, guidance, support, and a simple shoulder to cry on.

I love you all. Deep gratitude.

Kim

Kim,

We would never forget you. I still get notifications of posts and it breaks my heart to see new people needing this forum. I rarely comment now unless a post pulls on my heart. I too benefited from the friends here, helping me know I was not alone caring for a loved one with this terrible disease.

Prayers covering you and your family,

Bobby
